Felixstowe Amateur Dramatic and Operatic Society was formed in 1946 and is the oldest established amateur dramatic and operatic society in Felixstowe. We currently have two sections, Drama and Youth and put on a number of
productions each year from one act plays, entered in local festivals and often written by our own award winning authors, to full length productions. We also have a small concert party which provides
entertainment at local functions. We have our own premises in the High Street, Walton
(behind CookerZone, opposite the Half Moon public house) which is used for rehearsals and for entertainments for members and their friends and families. We are always looking for new members to join us -
whether as actors, directors, scenery builders/designers, back stage or front-of-house or anyone with an interest in the theatre. We are able to offer Costumes and
Props for hire at very reasonable rates. FADOS House is also available for hire as a Rehearsal Room.We can also provide a cabaret of music and comedy
ideal for after-dinner entertainment or for any social function. We will design a programme to your own requirements, for example: Songs from the Shows, Wartime Songs, Folk Songs, Comedy, Sketches & Monologues.
For further details of FADOS and our productions you can contact Su Steadman, our Chairman on 01394 671306 or any member of the Committee.Click here for the rules of the Society. Please note that all the photographs are copyrighted by the photographers
